As a Quality Review and Audit Sr. Analyst, this position requires independent completion of quality review and audit tasks, but has ready access to advice from more experienced team members. Identifies and recommends changes to improvements in department processing and procedures, and assists in the development of audit guidelines. Responsible for communicating quality outcomes and initiatives.

What you'll do:

  • Research, analyze, and perform root cause analysis for internal and external medication events.
  • Work with cross functional teams to develop corrective action and process improvements to address internal and external medication events.
  • Analyze internal audit trends and develop quality alerts and education to improve results.
  • Research and analyze automation errors to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicate quality outcomes and initiatives via tier meetings, quality meetings, quality boards, and quality alerts.
  • Track the status of staff training to ensure compliance of training for role and system accesses.
  • Use your forward planning skills to anticipate needs or issues
  • Complete day-to-day tasks without immediate supervision, but have ready access to advice from more experienced leadership
  • Use your excel proficiency to analyze, track and report out on findings
  • Follow-up with stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met and any delays are communicated proactively
  • Manage your workload efficiently, communicating with your manager any risks or challenges to targeted completion dates
  • Take initiative and show confidence in your correspondence with internal and external partners

    What you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelors' degree preferred
  • 5+ yrs related industrial or industry experience
  • Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and support multiple projects while meeting deliverables
  • Ability to be an independent worker with strong problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office, especially Excel
  • Ability to be flexible and agile, ability to pivot based on operational needs
  • Exceptional communication skills, with both internal and external business partners
  • Eagerness to learn and be proactive in expanding end to end knowledge within the business
  • Analytical, critical thinking, and decisive mindset
  • Ability to create and maintain positive relationships and strong networking skills
  • A focus on integrity and accuracy related to processes, procedures and regulations

This role is located onsite which expects most work to be performed at a Cigna office location, but may allow for some work to be performed at home. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite. Currently, due to the pandemic, we are encouraging all employee to remain working from home and all onsite meetings require a virtual option. However, we expect that this role will likely return to being performed primarily at an office location.
