Responsibilities

The Information Analyst will be responsible for the following:

  • Support government leads in ensuring the customer is in compliance with the Federal Records Management Act and all related statutes, federal regulations, and IC policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate and institute Records Control Schedules (RCS) and coordinate RCS with NARA. Create and implement RCS to address records from creation to disposition for both paper and electronic records.
  • Provide customer support to customer personnel and develop and deliver records management training.
  • Consult and coordinate with IC elements on the development and consistent implementation of IC records management policies and procedures.
  • Identify Privacy Act Systems of Records Notices with the Civil Liberties, Privacy, and Transparency Office.
  • Develop and implement plans for Vital Records identification and protection.

Qualifications

The candidate shall possess, at a minimum, the following education and experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in social, physical, natural, business or computer sciences; humanities; engineering, mathematics; informatics, records management, or other fields directly related to information management
  • Minimum of 4 years or more of experience in information management (IM) involving the collection and management of information from one or more sources and the distribution of that information to one or more audiences, especially involving those who have a stake in or a right to that information
  • The government will waive the Bachelors degree requirement if the candidate has an Associates degree and a minimum of 8 years or more of experience in information management (IM) involving the collection and management of information from one or more sources and the distribution of that information to one or more audiences, especially involving those who have a stake in or a right to that information
  • Expert knowledge of the governing principles, laws, policies, procedures, protocols, regulations and statutes of IM, and specific familiarity with IM directives, regulations, guidance, processes and practices of theclient and more broadly the IC
  • Expert knowledge of the governing principles, laws, policies, procedures, protocols, regulations and statutes of IM, and specific familiarity with IM directives, regulations, guidance, processes and practices of the IC.
  • Experience in the Intelligence Community. In-depth administrative and analytic capabilities. 5+ years specific records management experience and National Archives & Records Administration (NARA) Certificate in Records Management.
