Functional Description: Professional Individual Contributor

Works with hiring manager to document requirements of job openings as required opening requisition(s). Determines appropriate recruiting sources for advertising and posting positions. Promotes the company image to candidates and external service providers. Surfaces candidates and develops networks of people and processes to support a strong pipeline of qualified candidates. Prescreens resumes and evaluates effectiveness of electronic candidate evaluation tools. Documents candidate evaluation and interview process. May conduct employment background checks. May provide performance feedback on all recruiting agencies/sources.

Functional/Business Knowledge:

  • Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
  • General application of concepts and principles.
  • Demonstrates project management skills and successful track record of completion.
  • Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.

Scope:

  • Receives general oversight and guidance on approaches to compete project related tasks.
  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Develops solutions to a variety of problems.
  • Builds productive internal/external working relationships.

Judgement:

  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience.

Workplace Type:
  • The Workplace Type for this role is Flex. Based on the nature of your position you will be working onsite approximately 2-3 days per week from collaborative space and hoteling desks at our Dexcom sites. You will need to be located within commuting distance (typically 75 miles/120km) of your assigned Dexcom site.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Establishes key relationships with local high schools, community colleges, and universities
  • Host career events and attend college career fairs, interacting with students and promoting our employer brand
  • Works with hiring manager to document requirements of job openings as required opening requisition(s)
  • Determines appropriate recruiting sources for advertising and posting positions
  • Promotes the company image to candidates and external service providers
  • Sources candidates and develops networks of people and processes to support a strong pipeline of qualified candidates
  • Pre-screens resumes and evaluates effectiveness of electronic candidate evaluation tools.
  • Documents candidate evaluation and interview process.
  • Negotiates and/or supports hiring manager in developing new hire compensation package/offers
  • Works with agencies, recruiting contractors and/or internet website representatives in the course of conducting employment advertising campaigns.
  • May assume other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Take initiative and thrive in a fast paced and ambiguous environment
  • Strong sourcing ability (within an ATS, Linked in, Twitter, social media networks, job boards etc.) and ability to source both passive and active candidates
  • Agency or corporate recruiting experience in medical device, biotech or pharmaceutical industries is preferred but not required.
