About the role:

Join Takeda as a Regional Benefits Operations Senior Analyst where you will Responsible for supporting the administration and communication for all benefit programs including retirement and leave of absence plans for U.S. workforce of approximately 22,000 employees. As part of the Center of Excellence & Innovation (COEI), you will report to the Senior Manager Benefits Operations and work Partner with the Total Rewards Center of Excellence and Innovation (COEI) to ensure understanding of operations with benefits and leave of absence plans.

How you will contribute:

  • Identify and improve upon our benefit and leave of absence programs using data, enhancing our technology, process improvements, content management and vendor delivery improvements.
  • Focus on delivering an experience where our employees feel supported in our services.
  • Use case management data to guide service delivery model and People Experience by identifying the need for additional content, training and search criteria on our portal; prepare, uploads, and manage portal content.
  • Partner with Leave of Absence team lead to identify process improvements and collaborates with appropriate internal and external teams to lead changes and implementation.
  • Create metrics reporting program to collect and analyze benefit and leave of absence employee inquiry trends from ServiceNow for our COEI partners.
  • Perform quality checks of benefits-related data, identify eligibility and file issues with vendor and determine cause issue for corrections.
  • Help administer our health and welfare plans including medical, dental, vision, life/disability, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursement and 401K/retirement and leave of absence programs.
  • Co-manages the administration of Annual Enrollment operations.
  • Resolve employee benefit escalations from the People Resource Hub and other HR Partners related to enrollment, claims, payroll benefit deductions, coverage changes and detailed plan information with compassion, clarity.
  • Coordinate any plan or policy updates with the People Resource Hub.
  • Research and respond to Leave of Absence escalations from HR Partners and Managers, and within reported timelines.
  • Provide support to benefits billing and funding processes.
  • Complete ad-hoc benefits and leave of absence reporting for COEI partner, payroll, and insurance brokers.
  • Evaluate benefits and leave of absence data from Workday, ServiceNow and vendor systems for annual surveys, project documentation and to support policy decisions.
  • Lead diverse projects to improve process optimization and people experience across the benefits and leave of absence spectrum.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • 6 plus years of US benefits experience in a corporate environment with a large employer.
  • Knowledge of employee benefit plans and their administration requirements, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA and ADA required.
  • Experience with Retirement plans and funding requirements.
  • Experience building dashboards and visualizing data in a graphical formats.
  • Process improvement mindset and project management skills to improve our processes.
  • Experience with ADP Payroll or like payroll solution.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or like case management experience.
