We're looking for a Regional Head of Talent Acquisition to oversee recruitment across the US & Canada and join our passionate and talented team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition and working closely with our other regional heads (EMEA and Oceania), you'll lead on the development and delivery of strategies and solutions across North America, supporting both corporate and departmental objectives. You'll collaborate and help create a seamless and joined up global end-to-end recruitment service, by effective deployment of people, systems and suppliers to achieve business objectives and ensure regulatory compliance.

This role will allow you to build a global network within Computershare as well as collaborate with our external partners. The work will be varied with a combination of strategy, stakeholder management, change management, continuous improvement, data analytics and process design to ensure the successful outcomes for the business and other internal stakeholders.
You will manage a team of Talent Acquisition Partners and Team Leads who support all areas of our business, from executive searching, professional, technical as well as our emerging talent and volume campaigns. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for building an extraordinary Talent Acquisition team and a workplace culture to be proud of.
  • Accountable for perpetuating our 'Being Purple' values and promoting externally to attract candidates.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies, plans, campaigns and activity within agreed deadlines ensuring senior leaders are consulted and informed.
  • Acting as the talent acquisition subject matter expert on overall resourcing strategy to provide innovative, cost effective and timely solutions.
  • Partner with Computershare stakeholders to provide direct counsel and support for creative, timely, cost effective, and competitive staffing solutions including: Employment Branding, Candidate Experience, Employee Referral Program, Intern Programs, College/University Relations and On-boarding
  • Overseeing the appointment and performance of 3rd party suppliers at a strategic level, including temporary and permanent employees.
  • Ensures consistency, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and company reporting requirements and implements best practices across all global locations.
  • Leading the strategy on the use of various sourcing channels to ensure corporate and departmental objectives are met and leading the business on use and the effectiveness of these channels to drive future sourcing strategies.
  • Inspires confidence among subordinates, peers, and clients in Computershare's ability to attract and retain the most highly talented and diverse candidates.

  • Values the importance of making data driven decisions to support critical thinking and drive business decisions
  • Ability to think strategically, to identify and understand organizational issues, problems, and opportunities
  • Ten years experience managing specialist as well as high volume recruitment in a complex organizational structure
  • Expert knowledge of emerging talent market practices and advanced recruitment techniques including assessments, technology tools, candidate engagement platforms and interview techniques
  • Demonstrate ability to lead a high performing team to deliver consistently and proactively against critical deadlines
  • Track record of influencing change to support strategies and staffing decisions, to achieve business objectives
  • Strong people management experience focused on the attraction, development, and retention of key talent
  • A Batchelors degree in a related field or relevant professional certifications would be preferred.
