A Regional Manager is a unique position at Medline that is a combination of sales rep and manager. We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our Post-Acute medical sales team and is based in Denver, CO area. Relocation is not available Sales Rep Role: First and foremost, a Regional Manager (RM) is responsible for the continued development and success of their sales rep territory. Opportunities include but are not limited to:
    • Calling on the post-acute care market including long-term care facilities, home health and hospice agencies and medical equipment providers;
    • Selling clinical and operational solutions to all levels of decision makers including owners, Director of Nursing and Administrators;
    • Selling products that include incontinence, skin care, DME, advance wound care and gloves;
    • Developing a strong knowledge base about Medline's very large product catalog and numerous value added programs and services;
    • Developing meaningful relationships with new customers and deepening relationships with existing ones;
    • Cold calling and prospecting to develop new business opportunities;
    • Presenting new products and initiatives; educating customers on current industry trends and regulations;
    • Preparing bids and negotiating contracts;
    • Taking ownership and leadership of your territory-- growing it like your own business;
Manager Role A RM's primary responsibility is to meet or exceed established annual sales and strategic goals for their respective division. The RM is chartered with providing strategic leadership that supports Medline's corporate strategy to division's sales team. The Regional Manager is also responsible to recruit, hire and develop each individual representative in the organization to ensure we have the best sales team within our peer group and insure the success of each sales rep within their division. Success defined as rep consistently achieving the predefined annual goals set by Medline including: Quota achievement, PROMO goal, and success in deal generation/implementation. The RM will foster rep success through the following activities: Opportunities include but are not limited to:
  • Rep Travel: RM will travel with each rep 2 days per month minimum. These should be consecutive days and RM must follow Travel Requirements strategy.
  • Formal and consistent rep feedback and communication: RM is responsible for providing formal written and verbal feedback to the reps on a regular basis. Including weekly calls, semiannual reps assessments, and periodic progress reports.
  • Key Account Management : RM is responsible for creating and developing strong relationships with key decision makers in various levels of these designated accounts.
  • Profitability Improvement : RM is responsible for the continual improvement of Medline profitability and rep commissions.
  • Administrative duties : RM must effectively manage all administrative tasks in a timely manner including: All required reporting, Medline corporate communication, SPA approval and compliance policies, etc
    • Bachelor's degree required;
    • 3-5 years outside business-to-business sales experience; autonomy and accountability;
    • 1-3 years' experience managing a team of sales professionals
    • Ability to sell effectively to different levels within a customer organization;
    • Proven ability to identify, connect with, and close new business; build consensus
    • Complex sales strategy/approach to sell solutions across multiple levels;
    • Background in commissioned, tangible product sales;
    • Track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment;
    • Ability to present multiple product lines;
    • Is willing to travel 60% of the time (Travel as defined by local non-overnight and overnight)
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
    • Stable work history;
    • Computer proficiency especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
