JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential Responsibilities:

Be the front-line seller who drives sales, identifying and generating opportunities for utility and Retail Electric Provider (REP) customers. You will foster client satisfaction by maintaining regular customer contact and managing customer expectations. You will develop customer relationships through attending trade shows, seminars, customer presentations, and similar events. You will provide education of Resideo product and solutions through technical presentations, seminars and workshops. You will maintain and provide reports and opportunity status using our customer relationship management system. You will provide competitive intelligence and market trends. You will provide forecast/demand input to Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process. Drive business growth by discovering new opportunities, services, clients, and customers - focusing specifically on increasing Resideo customer enrollments in utility programs. Deliver value by forging new strategic relationships. Grow your knowledge of Resideo products in a team-based culture focused on innovation and customer satisfaction.

YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree
WE VALUE:
  • Deep knowledge of the east coast electric utility industry, and load management industry in particular
  • A broad knowledge of sales principles and best practices
  • An understanding of utility program dynamics and regulatory processes
  • Excellent team and communication skills
  • An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
  • An ability to influence at the operational level
  • An ability to influence customers, while maintaining healthy relationships
  • Significant experience in selling utility products and services
  • Deep technical expertise
  • Understanding of the Resideo value proposition as well as the competitive landscape
