This is a remote position.

A requirement of this position is that the employee must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or qualify for an accommodation from the Banks vaccination policy. The Research Division focuses on every aspect of the economy, from the local to the international level. At the Atlanta Fed, studies range from analyzing rural banking markets in the Southeast to designing and testing economic forecasting models used in policy making.

SCOPE OF ASSIGNMENT

Selected students will be cold calling firms decision makers to solicit their participation in one of multiple national survey efforts administered by the Atlanta Feds Economic Survey Research Center. The data collected in these surveys are used to help better inform monetary policymakers on firms expectations and key concerns.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student, preferably in economics or finance.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
