Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills to external and internal guests by displaying Spotlight on Service behaviors and OWN IT skills. Maintains upbeat, positive attitude, friendly and helpful demeanor, positive energy and enthusiasm from one interaction to the next. Utilizes smiles and frequent eye contact and friendly tone of voice to project warmth and friendliness. Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebrates customer wins. Is ready to serve and is well informed of daily facility hours of operation, promotional programs and any other relevant valuable guest information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting. Anticipates needs of the guest and provides fast, flawless service. Executes all service programs to assure prioritization of service to the very best guests. Checks for satisfaction and properly uses the Service Recovery process to resolve problems when they exist. Promotes Caesars Rewards programs and Caesars Rewards registration and membership. Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting. Promotes Harrah's and always projects Harrah's in a positive light to guests.

Prepares lists of injuries and damaged/stolen property from previous day. Processes claims to insurance company. Conducts courtesy calls to guests with incidents. Coordinates activities of employees on light duty assignments. Conducts safety presentation for new hire orientation. Attends monthly Risk and Safety meetings. Assists company's third party administrator with employee and guest claims. Filing of employee work injury records and risk management documents. Prepares quarterly OSHA report for corporate. Prepares and maintains organized files. Promptly prepares and accurately maintains risk management files. Assists in maintaining risk management supplies and inventory. Provides assistance with ensuring the area is neat and presentable for visitors at all times. Provides clerical support as needed for all functions of Risk Management. Assists with project work as assigned. Interacts with other employees, applicants, outside suppliers and vendors as a role model. Maintains confidentiality. Provides complimentary services and has authority to issue comps in accordance with the approved comp matrix

Complies with and upholds company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, industry regulations, department goals and business strategy. Politely gives consistent, timely and accurate information and finds answer when unsure. Acts as a role model and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah's and encourages other to do the same. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.


High school diploma or equivalent. Basic office skills (fax, copy machine, telephone, personal computer experience). Ability to communicate with all levels of management in a clear, friendly, and confident manner. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Must be able to maneuver around warehouse and receiving areas, effectively work in high traffic areas and respond to visual and aural cues. Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment. Must be self-motivated and be able to handle more than one function at a time by being well organized. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Excellent customer service skills a must.

Is able to work in smoke filled environment, and is able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.

Must be able to obtain a "Non-Gaming" license through the state of Pennsylvania.
