Shift:7pm-7am

The role youll contribute:

Provides emergency nursing care according to established procedures. Is responsible for coordinating patient care activities for assigned patient. To set an example and be a role model for ED personnel. Will be accountable for exemplifying excellent service behavior to patients, clients, visitors, physicians, co-workers, vendors; shows courtesy, personalized attention, respect, compassion and timely responsiveness to all customers and demonstrates values at all times.

The value youll bring to the team:

• Gathers data/assess/reassess all populations served and complete primary assessment of all newly admitted and transferred patients
• Supervises ancillary team members in the process of basic nursing functions
• Acts as preceptor when needed
• Provides education to patients and families from admission to discharge
• Demonstrates proficient technical skills and operational knowledge on all equipment used on the unit

The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:

• BSN/ASN degree required
• Current RN GA license required
• Two years clinical experience required
• TNCC, CEN preferred
• Current BLS required; ACLS & PALS preferred
