The role youll contribute:

Provides Restorative Nursing measures to assist residents to reach their highest level of independence in Activities of Daily Living while executing the duties of Customer Service/Risk Manager. The position works in collaboration with the Administrator, Director of Nurses, Staff, Physicians, Resource Personnel, Resident and Family members to identify opportunities to provide exceptional customer service, in the identification of actual and potential risk issues and in the formulation and implementation of performance improvement strategies for improved customer service and quality of care outcomes.

The value youll bring to the team:

• Performs range of motion (passive/active), general strengthening exercises, ambulation/transfer, and activities of daily living.
• Ensure the placement of restorative devices/equipment. Ensures all equipment/devices updated on NADS and care plan.
• Oversees, in conjunction with the Administrator, the customer service outcomes of the facility.
• Acts as a resource to residents, visitors, physicians and facility staff concerning resident care and outcomes. Coordinates and oversees other investigations required to be completed for resident, staff or visitor incidents/accidents.
• Assists in the design, development and implementation of risk management programs with a focus to reduce and/or prevent risk situations.

The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:

• Minimum qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification
  • Current Licensed Nurse or clinician in the state of practice
  • Long term care experience
  • Restorative Measures training or experience
• Preferred qualifications:
  • Florida certification as a Healthcare Risk Manager
