Job Description:



Robotics support such as programming of industrial robots, robots and PLC interface, electrical schematics design and trouble shootings, PLC controls, for automated equipments in Assembly/Welding and machining.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Expert programming and maintenance knowledge of Fanuc Robots.



Maintain automation in Assembly, Machining and Welding area are working efficiently.



Makes programming changes on automated & manual equipments to improve uptime, improve recovery, reduce scrap, increase throughput.



Maintain databases in visual basic (VB) languages, data collection, good understanding of networking and data collection.



Manage automation changes driven by customer needs or product design changes.



Troubleshoots equipment problems in Fanuc robots, PLC logics of Allen Bradley make.



Works with production supervisors, engineers and technicians responsible for supporting the hub assembly, rotor assembly, machine shop and foundry areas



LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.



MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.



REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.,) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.



PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand; sit; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Required Experience:



Bachelors Degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical, Electronics, Robotics, Controls, or similar engineering degree.
Hands on Programming experience of Fanuc and Motto man robots (certification preferred).
Hands on PLC and Ladder experience
Ability to solve practical problems, able to use structured problem solving like 5-Why, A3, 9-step and Six Sigma etc.
Qualifications and Competencies:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment related issues and determine short term and long term solutions.
Strong PLC, Robotics, Industrial Programming, Networking, Data Collection and Controls skills.
Industrial Robotics Fanuc and Motto man.
Understand fundamental of automations and critical elements such as Light Curtains, Sensors, PLC programs and Logics etc.
