This role supports the RTP manufacturing site. It requires the ability to work effectively with site leadership, manage data and projects, support HR processes, and support HR interventions for the site. Personal characteristics required for the role include leadership, the ability to deal with ambiguity, ability to analyze and manage data, ability to see connections across the organization, and good HR judgement.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Metrics and HC Processes

    • Support and lead HR processes to include year end process, job matching and leveling, AAP, etc.

    • Work with finance to collect and consolidate headcount as part of the Strategic Planning & Business Planning processes

    • Provide reporting on key metrics

    • Workday HR system technical support for managers

  • Site Projects

    • Work with RTP HR Strategic Business Partner to support high priority projects and/or initiatives for the site as needed (examples include recruiting plan, culture, onboarding) Opportunity to build HR systems

    • Ensure that all relevant Compliance processes are in place, including federal regulations for worker safety, compliance, hiring practices, and others as needed

    • Ensure that materials are available to support local RTP managers in accessing local and corporate HR resources

  • Business Partnership

    • Lead site teams for leadership development, engagement and Diversity & Inclusion

    • Supporting and managing all HR processes (Talent Management, Year End processes, Tech Ladder process) for the site

    • Partner with HR centers of expertise to support the business

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • At least one year of HR related experience; or five years of other experiences involving project management skills.

Additional Preferences:

  • Demonstrated leadership/influence on HR related initiatives

  • Demonstrated effectiveness in working across all levels of the organization

  • Knowledge of key HR processes

  • Project management skills; flexibility and versatility in managing projects and workload

  • Understanding of common HR policies, compliance rules / regulations and procedures

  • SHRM certification

  • Business acumen

  • Strong computer skills (esp. Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguity and to "connect the dots"

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and analyze data

  • Demonstrated strong organization skills
