The Sales Account Manager for Arconic North America Automotive and Driveshaft business in the U.S. market. This position is accountable for the following:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of customer's decision-making process, utilize new solutions and services, and recommend/implement actions to obtain sales at target profitability levels.
  • Obtain knowledge of customer and competitive landscape for automotive and driveshaft business in the U.S. Market
  • Support in developing and executing an overall customer strategy and be able to articulate to all levels of the Business.
  • Responsible for managing the monthly forecasting process for their respective customers as part of the SOP cycle.
  • Ensure the proper management of customer purchase orders to ensure delivering on the monthly volume and revenue forecast.
  • Manage and maintain customer accounts healthy from an account receivables perspective.
  • Manage the monthly sales reconciliation process with each customer.
  • Establish relationships with all levels of customer purchasing, technical, product development, and management personnel.
  • Ability to support lengthy contract negotiations with customer.

The incumbent is expected to be able to comprehend the sophisticated technical processes that are critical to understanding customer needs and requirements as well as Arconic's products and manufacturing systems. Additional skills needed include:
