The Sales Engineer will assist in the engineering and selling of Fisher products and to serve as liaison between field sales force and all factor departments.
AS SALES ENGINEER, YOU WILL:
  • Provide Support to Field Sales by:
    • Provide technical assistance to field salesperson, i.e., valve sizing and selection.
    • Coordinate and participate in customer sales presentations.
    • Define and coordinate special customer product proposals.
    • Organize and participate in special project proposals.
    • Provide interface between field sales offices.
    • Provide backup as customer support.
    • Establish, manage and document value based price to field sales offices.
    • Organize and participate in product promotion and application.
    • Provide customer and Fisher salesperson training.
    • Coordinate customer factory visits, i.e., implement tours, demonstrations, meetings, housing and transportation.
    • Awareness of: corporate agreements and execution of agreement requirement strategy, account management, marque accounts and multi-division pursuits.
  • Promote of Corporate Image by:
    • Prepare and present technical papers
    • Participate in trade shows and exhibits
    • Develop good customer/factory relationships
    • Represent Emerson Process Management in highest professional manner in all business situations.
  • Interdepartmental Activities:
    • Assist in new product development
    • Participate in development of internal systems and procedures
    • Promote customer awareness among all employees
    • Evaluate competition
    • Identify and elevate common product problems
    • Provide liaison between field sales and other departments
  • Intradepartmental Activities:
    • Provide training of new Sales Engineers and Sales Associates
    • Provide business inputs to valve division SD&S management

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • BS in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Must be able to work with people
  • Basic communication and business skills.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
