Position Summary:

This role will be responsible to partner closely with the AMR Commercial Sales organization to drive strategic and operational excellence for achievement of sales objectives. Success in this role will rely on strong communication, relationship building, an inquisitive mindset, and a natural affinity to streamline sales user's workflow. Output of this role focuses on smooth sales business process, increased adoption of everyday sales tools, and a more efficient and effective sales user experience during the Lead to Order Fulfillment. Time will be spent partnering closely with sales management to drive data-driven solutions through presentation and analytical sales resources. The candidate will work closely with AMR Commercial Ops counterparts on activities required to administrate a successful Sales Process. This position is an internal position with minimal travel.


  • Main point of contact to specific sub-regional Sales Management and Representatives
  • Actively participates in providing recommendations and leading discussions for subregional sales management
  • Drives strategic improvement projects to enhance key processes and workflows owned by sales representatives
  • Advises sales stakeholders on KPI tracking, reporting, and analysis to uncover actionable insights
  • Presents advanced analyses to highlight gaps in the sales business
  • Conducts key workstreams required for strategic planning and quota setting process
  • Proactively understands needs of sales stakeholders and takes initiative
  • Collaborates with regional and global Commercial Ops counterparts on execution of Territory Design
  • Owns recurring analyses/models that track sales team resourcing and sizing - make recommendations as appropriate
  • Builds business meeting review materials to facilitate discussion at management meetings
  • Represents AMR Sales Operations on multiple cross functional activities
  • Drives adoption of new commercial resources through hosting sales user education, training and on-boarding
  • Performs other duties and ad-hoc analysis as required

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Successful track record in Commercial Operations, FP&A, or a related commercial support role preferred
  • 2-3 years of direct work experience, related industry a plus but not required
  • Background supporting various business partners with a focus on analytics and/or operational excellence
  • Self-motivated, high drive, curious, and growth-mindset with desire to innovate
  • Effectively and concisely communicates complex topics with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-guided in identification, prioritization and execution of deliverables and projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work in team settings, and work independently when required.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, critical thinking and project management skills
  • Possess an open, flexible, and positive can-do attitude with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to deliver quality work in a timely manner with competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Office and Outlook and possess an innate ability to navigate through new software applications. Experience with SAP and Salesforce.com a plus.


Must have a B.A. or B.S., technical field preferred but not required.
