Sales Manager for the NA Salesforce Manufacturing, Logistics, Energy Utilities (MLEU) Practice
NA is the largest Salesforce marketwith a projected revenue of over $400M, contributing 70% of the global revenue.
The Salesforce Sales Manager holds the overall P & L responsibility for the MLEU Sectorsreporting into Global Practice Leader.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing strong client relationships with C-suite executives
- Deep understanding of industry landscape, business model and strategic options to help C-Suite clients make decisions on key issues at the intersection of business, technology, and operations
- Establish Market Share by managing Sales function
- Responsible for attainment of Salesforce MLEU sales, revenue and profitability targets
- Develop geography, vertical, and account sales plans to ensure sales and revenue goals achieved
- Build and lead a team of Salesforce Service Line Sales Specialists to execute the sales plans
- Ensure that the Salesforce MLEU sectors are consistently applying the Cognizant Way to Sell and Client Value Framework to shape, qualify, propose, and close sales opportunities
- Ensure that all sales opportunities support Cognizants strategic business objectives, and are accurately recorded and maintained to ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue forecasts
- Manage and resolve any internal issues or escalation requests of the pursuit teams or sales Managers to maximize sales productivity.
- Positioning Cognizant offerings in the marketplace and within the Salesforce ecosystem
- Work with marketing and alliances team to ensure alignment between GTM plans and client and channel marketing activities
- Thought leadership, events and GTM campaigns
Management:
- Manage key performance indicators in alignment with Global Practice goals
- Responsible for Practice P & L Revenue and CP target attainment
- People Leadership manage attrition, employee morale and employee satisfaction
- Represent Practice with corporate functions like Recruiting and Academy
- Stay on top of operational metrics with changing markets and company situation
