Semilla Sagrada Doula

Public Health Foundation Enterprises, In
San Francisco, CA 94102
  • Job Code

SisterWeb doulas provide support for pregnant people and families who are Black, Latinx, and Pacific Islander living in San Francisco. These communities often lack access to high-quality, culturally and linguistically congruent doula care. SisterWeb doulas will not only be trained and compensated to provide peripartum, peer-to-peer doula support but will also grow a strong network of professional doulas within San Franciscos communities who are most impacted by maternal morbidity and mortality and have the least access to doula services.

Doulas support all of SisterWebs programs, and there are currently three distinct community doula initiatives in our network. The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks, collaborative, maintains a high level of attention to detail, and has excellent written and verbal communications skills.

This is a temporary, grant-funded, part time (32-36 hrs per week), benefited position. Employment is provided by Heluna Health.

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
