The Sr. Digital Content Strategist is responsible for improving self-service content and information architecture on digital platforms in order to improve findability and usefulness of the overall content. The Sr. Digital Content Strategist is responsible for site improvements that drive adoption of self-service and decreased reliance on other support channels. They are responsible for helping in the overall governance and training strategy in order to enable content improvement. Bachelor's degree with a concentration in web development, interaction design, human factors engineering, information management or equivalent preferred or related/equivalent work experience.
5 or more years of experience in web site or intranet development, user centered design, usability and/or project management or comparable experience.
Experience using content personalization techniques across platforms.
Keen understanding of common practices in content architecture, user interface design, storyboarding, and user experience philosophies
Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to understand and foresee user requirements and usage patterns
Knowledge of project management methodology (PLC) including the ability to lead a diverse cross functional team.
Excellent understanding of web publishing tools and technologies including: Microsoft applications, Intranet/Intranet publishing software, HTML, and web reporting.
Must be a team player who is self-motivated, detail oriented, professional, organized, quality oriented, able to multi-task and manage projects.
Excellent business writing and editing skills.
Understanding of user centered design principles, web development, web design, project management, and usability.
Must communicate effectively with associates throughout the firm. Able to explain standards and recommend proper knowledge development/navigation requirements. Must liaison between business and IS experts to determine what meets the needs of the end-user most effectively. Will need to be able to professionally explain decisions regarding what information is posted and how it is posted even when in conflict with author's or business owner desires.
