Transform and lead the end-to end operations of content creation, technology interfaces, print and digital production, resourcing, supplier management, quality and performance assessment, and cost management. Assess and drive performance of content operations for continuous improvement.Serve as key partner to EVP Content & Communications, translating operational, production and performance data into insights and narratives that help drive decisions and operations to help speed transformation, delivery to market, greater utilization, engagement and efficiencies.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of people, in accordance with the Associations Management Charter, with managing people being the primary responsibility

  • Lead the Associations Management Charter accountabilities

  • Lead content production workflows, capacity planning and management, agile resource allocation budget, forecast and spend, working closely with organizational leads for content strategy, multimedia and design, publishing and writing

  • Provide recommendations for cost efficiencies and value enhancements, related to all aspects of content production and delivey

  • Lead reporting and development on associated dashboards, including collaborating with finance to deliver reports on P&L and with intelligence leads to drive insights related to content production and resource utilization

  • Lead and oversee strong relationships with all approved suppliers (database, approval, relationships, contracting etc) for the content team

  • Lead the creation and management of a content library/DAM/CAM with required access permissions and governance.

  • Oversee system and process for the content function with aim of continuous improvement

  • Direct inventory management of all products (digital and physical) to minimize waste

  • Direct the production of print runs of magazines and any other physical products

  • Oversee the documentation of all operations to ensure that consistent, efficient workflows are in place, yielding optimal productivity and performance.

  • Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration

  • Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity

  • Coach and direct those responsible for the development of financial and budgetary plans

  • Directs global project implementation supporting content demands for digital business transformation, including content migration, taxonomy and delivery via our evolving new platform.

  • Analyse current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for continuous improvement

  • Developing and building crossfunctional teams encouraging and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members

  • Direct and lead consistent process adoption, application, delivery, and improvement to fulfil operational excellence targets

  • Works with the data team and serves as point person to filter insights and recommendations for teamwide performance metrics and financial decisions for EVP of Content and Corporate Communications.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Ability to manage up and work entrepreneurially and independently, solving problems swiftly and identifying opportunities for innovation and greater effectiveness

  • Demonstrated people management and leadership skills

  • Strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources

  • Production, quality control processes and other techniques for maximizing the effective production of content

  • Knowledge and understanding of various production workstreams and delivery platforms including multi media, pod casts, magazines, etc.

  • Management of financial resources and budgeting

  • Strong people management and communication skills

  • Ability to develop and execute change strategies to drive transformation

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Bachelors degree in business or related field

  • 10 Years experience with end to end content production

  • Experience managing large numbers of content producers of all types Experience coordinating teams in a matrixed agile work environment

  • Experience implementing and leading teams through organization change

  • Experience production delivery on time and within budget

  • Experience of a continuous improvement approach based on lean principles

  • Experience with digital publishing or platform content

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Experience with digital content management system
