The GPU Architecture group at NVIDIA is looking for architects and software developers for our next generation GPUs. In this position, you will be part of a team of elite architects with expertise in simulation and performance modeling, analysis and validation of graphics architectures, and system level features that advance the state of the art in graphics performance, power and efficiency.

What you'll be doing:

• Apply your C++ and/or SystemC skills to develop and maintain functional and performance models.
  
• Architect, design, develop and document tools to analyze and simulate key workloads of interest to validate and study new features.
  
• Develop workloads for new GPU features and analyze their behavior and performance.
  
• Become an authority on critical aspects of the GPU and validate the hardware implementation of that part.
  
• Build tests to validate GPU performance.
  
• Build and improve tools for coverage analysis and reporting.
  
• Thrive in a matrixed environment with many experienced software developers and architects.
  

What we need to see:

• A Bachelors Degree in Computer Architecture, Computer Science or related field (EE, ECE, etc) or equivalent experience.
  
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience.
  
• Strong programming ability in C, C++. Scripting in Perl and/or Python.
  
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a distributed team environment.
  
• Knowledge of graphics and compute API's (OpenGL, DX, CUDA) is highly useful.
  

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) helpful.
  
• Successful product development experience in performance modeling and analysis is a big plus.
  
• SystemC modelling experience is an advantage.
