The Role
The Senior Manager, Product Marketing will design and lead global UGG product category marketing strategies, positioning, value proposition, and expression in the market, under the direction of and in partnership with the Director of Product Marketing, that create brand heat, drive category strength, inspire consumer engagement, and deliver commercial results. The role will influence how global consumers think about and connect with each UGG product category and be part of steering the business through the next inflection point and phase of growth.
A strong candidate for this role has a track record of consistently using data and consumer insights to successfully develop and implement product marketing and franchise management strategies globally and across all consumer marketing touchpoints.

Your Impact

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:
Architect and implement global category product marketing and franchise management strategies
Foster partnership with product and sales functions throughout the Go To Market process, driving regional alignment of seasonal key product stories for a consistent global brand presentation.
Strategically leverage and integrate consumer insights; and understanding of demand and profit drivers of the business to create marketing strategies that strengthen brand heat, consumer interest, sales and loyalty in alignment with seasonal product plans.
Lead the development of category product marketing briefs for seasonal and campaign kick-offs; partner with key stakeholders for implementation.
Lead the creation of product marketing plans that deliver tailored marketing solutions and seamless integration across all marketing platforms, including PR, advertising, brand communications, social media, etc.
Track, analyze and own category marketing program effectiveness and ROI for initiatives and be a lead interface within the Brand for consumer insights.

Wed love to hear from people with
8+ years similar marketing leadership experience in a combination of 2 or more of the following areas: product marketing, global brand marketing, branding/brand design, digital marketing, category marketing, creative services, consumer insights, etc, including at least 5+ years in a team leadership position
Demonstrated understanding of/experience working with multiple global markets preferred (APAC, EMEA, Americas)
Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent combination education/experience; Advanced degree preferred
Demonstrated experience creating brand and product/category marketing strategies for a global audience with multiple distribution channels (retail, wholesale, ecommerce) exceeding $500M+; Womens category and footwear experience preferred; Thorough understanding of how to leverage and integrate branding and product marketing KPIs
Demonstrated experience guiding the marketing POV for the GTM process, and influencing across a matrix organization to achieve results
Thorough understanding of competitive landscape and OmniChannel environment, with advanced knowledge of the global footwear industry and its consumers
Demonstrated presentation skills at the executive level, with experience influencing and motivating senior level audiences (sales meetings, key accounts, internal teams, etc.)
Advanced analytical skills; ability to interpret and translate consumer data into actionable insights and strategies
