Job Description

The Senior Marketing Manager is a passionate connector and problem solver. In this role, you will be involved in many facets of brand management and responsible for implementing innovative marketing strategies.

Individual Responsibilities:

  • Manage rollout of the brand redesign, prioritizing strategic initiatives and overall project list, ensuring that resources are employed against those that will maximize growth.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Global Brand team to ensure consistency, connection with Brand transformation and integrated brand planning
  • Collaborate across disciplines to drive problem solving and design solutions (creative, UX, technology, strategy, analytics, planning); enables the idea and is always in service of it
  • Work with the Head of Marketing Strategy and Operations to develop project plans for marketing plan deliverables. Expertly frame projects by asking all the right questions and offer alternatives and innovation to the approach.
  • Development and manage of key initiatives for Brand protection, governance, and guidelines to ensure brand consistency and relevance
  • Partner with analytics teams to measure and track key brand metrics and brand ROI against targeted outcomes, driving actionable recommendations and insights
  • Track all brand marketing activity in such a way that teams can readily identify successes and areas of improvement
  • Unify marketing operations within GWAM and define the working model for how we integrate across to operationalize and streamline workflow and collaboration among internal stakeholders. Define the governance framework and review process to ensure quality
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and processes with Legal, Risk, Procurement, Business Affairs and Compliance teams
  • Simplify operational processes and tools. Establish processes to quickly test initiatives without large, long-term resource commitments
  • Develop and implement brand learning plans/post-mortems that measure return on marketing investment and provide feedback on how to improve future marketing efforts
  • Coordinate and partner with corporate research team to execute research studies " leveraging consumer insights to drive brand awareness and holistic brand experiences that engage interest and brand loyalty
  • Develop a shared learnings agenda to all for continual education for team
  • Provide industry knowledge to define and deliver programs - knowing design and technology trends, how to implement them and when, and knowing what industry competitors are doing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications or related field of study. MBA a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience as a brand marketer, marketing manager or product manager. Agency and wealth management experience a plus
  • Can flourish as a member of a global virtual team structure spanning multiple time zones and cultures
  • Excellent project management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple priorities
  • Previous experience managing budgets
  • Proven track record of complex large-scale or multiple mid-sized projects - invested in creating high quality/innovative/high business value work
  • Experience in developing and maintaining brand standards and guidelines, preferably within a matrix environment
  • Demonstrated abilities in people management, cross divisional collaboration and negotiation
  • Strong consulting, negotiating and influencing skills
  • Working across functional areas to develop effective business solutions that align with company and business unit/department objectives
  • Select vendors for research, writing and design (budgeting must go through manager approval)
  • Develop and approve marketing campaigns
  • Approve marketing materials and presenters
  • Determine appropriate audiences for messaging
  • Role will have global responsibilities.
