Job Summary:

The role location preferred is Austin, TX, however, we will consider candidates from across the US as well.

Responsible for leading a team of 12+ in office and work from home licensed insurance agents. In this role, you will lead a team that is responsible for seeking out new customers by receiving inbound inquiries or proactively making outbound calls. The Inside Sales Supervisor will monitor key performance indicator metrics and work with the sales manager to oversee the entire sales administration process. They will help implement growth strategies and collaborate with various matrix partners to achieve business goals.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Leads, coaches and develops the Inside Sales team concentrating on individual sales productivity along with meeting quotas, objectives and goals.
  • Conducts regular check-ins with agents to drive their performance, ensure continual development, and to hold them accountable for achieving individual and team goals.
  • Communicates goals and monitors individual, team and call center results to identify and act on both positive and negative trends to ensure attainment of financial and performance targets.
  • Works to remove barriers for front line staff in order to exceed customer expectations.
  • Hires, assimilates and trains new Inside Sales Reps. Follows Cigna's 'connect for growth' leadership philosophy to create a positive work environment focused on employee development.
  • Manage the team to ensure that persistency targets are achieved.
  • Conducts daily call monitoring to identify coaching opportunities.
  • Reinforces learning on a daily basis through call monitoring, individual agent coaching, and assessment of agent analytics.
  • Resolves escalated customer issues.
  • Leads team through change by developing a positive team relationship.
  • Facilitates compliance with all corporate policies.
  • Handles multiple assignments in fast paced atmosphere.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Extensive background in Medicare and other supplemental health product sales
  • Prior people management experience strongly preferred
  • At least 5+ years of successful call center operations experience, ideally supporting sales
  • Must hold a current Health Insurance License for each state managed
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skill
  • Ability to drive results, think strategically and implement a new business growth strategy
  • Leadership skills required in order to motivate, mentor, and inspire a team of sales professionals
  • Solid client and prospect presentation skills
  • Working proficiency with metrics, measurements, reports and operations
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills that result in conclusive recommendations
  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint and Office products

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
