We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is collaborative and passionate about building and/or enhancing great products and experiences in a highly regulated and matrixed environment supporting our auto vertical.

You will be responsible for the overall performance of a set of products, overseeing it from inception and ideation through design, build, launch, growth, enhancement and eventual sunset. You will be expected to define the direction of the product, create product roadmaps, identify delivery channels, help determine product development needs and provide industry thought leadership.

In order to be successful, you must be able to, coordinate with business leaders across the organization, as well as, with others in cross functional teams (D&A, technology, sales, fulfillment, product marketing, finance, legal) to define product requirements ultimately bringing products to market.

What Youll Do

Develop and understand industry, customer and partner needs by:

  • Analyzing customer needs through industry research, voice of sales and voice of customer

  • Building and maintaining an understanding of industry trends and using that knowledge to identify factors that differentiate Equifax from its competitors

  • Evaluating competitive landscape and utilize understanding of the competitors to identify and articulate high-potential opportunities

Define, build and launch new and enhanced products by:

  • Conducting market validation with existing and prospective customers (VOC, customer advisory)

  • Evaluating solutions for commercial viability

  • Creating and communicating the product(s) vision

  • Creating clear and concise requirement definition for product development via the use Epics and Features

  • Using knowledge of best practices and how product integrates to evaluate approaches and requirements

  • Working with other product capabilities to help define and prioritize Auto opportunities

  • Lead prioritized opportunities

  • Determining buy, build, partner approach

  • Assessing the need for, and owning the development of, strategic partnerships

  • Understanding and making decisions around product trade-offs based on market need

  • Gathering feedback and driving improvements during development

  • Facilitating the development of the commercial model and packaging

  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the enterprise to support product releases (Operations, Product Marketing, etc.)

Manage new and existing product through normal life-cycle events by:

  • Collecting, analyzing and interpreting data to reach conclusions and/or present insights and findings to drive product lifecycle management decisions including enhancements and sunsetting

  • Tracking, monitoring and ensuring effective performance of the product including attainment of revenue and margin objectives

Foster a culture of empowerment and innovation by:

  • Contributing to conversations that encourage innovation

  • Using knowledge of best practices and how products integrate with others to improve own work and the work of less experienced colleagues.

  • Applying a new perspective on existing solutions to solve complex problems, analyzing multiple sources of information

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience with a minimum of 5+ years of product management experience in FinTech

  • 2+ years experience in a Product Management/Ownership role working in a highly regulated environment

  • Knowledge and understanding in customer and user experience technology

  • Expertise collaborating with development team

  • An agile product mindset with a high level of intellectual curiosity (Agile certification preferred, not required)

  • Capable of having a span of influence with individuals that are not direct reports

  • Motivation to become an expert in your product area in order to best serve business needs and create effective solutions

  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members at various levels
