**Job Description:**



The Financial Center Analytics Team is responsible for providing analytic insights and solutions related to the clients, transactions and programs within our physical network. The team is tasked with understanding all aspects of Financial Center activities and their performance implications. These insightful analytics help to drive the strategic direction and tactical decision making associated with all activities taking place in our centers.



In this role, the senior analyst leads and delivers analytic work focused on understanding how customers utilize our network today, including evaluating the success and adoption of new programs and services. Based on these results, they will work with the business to improve the experiences for our customers in order drive future success for both our clients and the company. The analyst will need to develop an in-depth understanding of transaction activity within our centers and across other channels. Additionally they will need expertise in client level performance data.



The role requires the individual to be able to proficiently use data tools & techniques to extract information and transform the data into meaningful and actionable insights. The analyst is expected to work with partners to identify, analyze, and propose solutions to a variety of business problems using data driven insights. This includes developing an approach to solving the business question, gathering and analyzing the data, and providing recommendations based on the findings. Often required to interact independently and own a project or business area end-end.



Required skills and Experience



+ Minimum of Bachelor's degree with strong quantitative background in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or Economics

+ 5+ years of analytics experience in support of a product, channel or segment with ad hoc analytics as primary output

+ 5+ years analytic, data and coding experience demonstrating strong proficiency in utilizing SAS/SQL or other relevant tools

+ Demonstrated data skills with large data stores, comfort with navigating and connecting disparate data sources

+ Comfortable and effective in tackling unstructured analytical challenges; ability to translate data into meaningful insights

+ Strong demonstrated ability to summarize and interpret large amounts of data; experience with relational databases; Statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines and milestones with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

+ Proven communications skills in describing complex data to inform strategic insights and decisions including solid packaging and presentation skills utilizing MS Excel and Power Point

+ Ability to build key relationships and influence thinking of internal stakeholders

+ Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

+ Self-motivation, self-direction, organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality or timelines



Desired Skills:



+ Experience in financial services or products, with particular emphasis on business insights and data/financial analysis

+ Advanced degree in business or statistics

+ Knowledge of and experience with BAC data, "W", THOR, PAM and more

+ Working knowledge of advanced analytic techniques including propensity models, segmentation, and decision trees

+ Familiarity with R, Python

+ Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g. Tableau)
