The Role

The Contract Senior Recruiter is a key member of the internal talent acquisition consulting COE known asKF Hire.This opportunity will be supporting the North American KF Hire team responsible for the full life cycle recruitment process. They will partner with various stakeholders throughout the Korn Ferry Search business as their Internal Talent Acquisition Consultant.

Key Accountabilities

  • Partner closely with Business Leaders and HRBP's to align sourcing activities to workforce plans and understands the needs of the Line of Business(LOB) being supported.

  • Identifies and creates multi-channel sourcing strategies to target and matchsource candidates that align with internal client requirements

  • Stakeholder Management - Communicates with stakeholders in a timely, professional, and responsive manner

  • Conduct intake meetings with business leaders and set expectations for the recruitment process

  • Follow global standard recruitment process for recruitment delivery and identify continuous improvement opportunities to further enhance the overall candidate and client experience

  • Use competency and behavioral-based interviewing to identify and differentiate candidate in the presentation and short-list process

  • Effectively communicate position opportunity and client value proposition

  • Able to conduct and document screening process including resume pre-screening, telephone interview and shortlisting, design questions and scripts for the screening process

  • Maintain the applicant tracking system, document candidate activity, present candidates to hiring managers, and facilitate the interview and offer process

  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management; conducts in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating the ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios

  • Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent, and identification of top performers for openings

  • Sending HR and/or recruiting-related correspondence, e.g. education verification, reference checks, background checks, etc.

  • Responsible for documenting, tracking, and maintaining records, the status of engagements in the applicant tracking system

  • Assists in creating job description templates and maintaining the database
Skills & Experience

  • 5 or more years of recruiting experience including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting, Executive Search experience is strongly preferred

  • 5 or more years of client-facing experience interacting with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process

  • 5 or more years experience developing and executing sourcing methodologies to include market mapping, recruitment strategies, and Boolean searches

  • 5 or more years working proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools, particularly with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams

  • Strong Human Resources foundational knowledge

  • Significant knowledge of employment law and talent acquisition best practices

  • Highly organized with a focus on details and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.

  • Experience working with clients at various levels of an organization.

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Able to manage own workload, including multiple priorities, in order to meet deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Able to effectively cope with change in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-initiative along with the ability to respond quickly to client requests
