  • Cell Biologist/ Immunologist with extensive in vitro/ cell-based assay experience to progress biologics and cell therapies programs
  • Independently plan and implement experiments to deliver data for antibody/ cell therapy discovery and lead optimization
  • Responsible for participating on matrix project teams, interfacing very closely with members of the Global Biologics/ IO/Chemistry/GI/CNS/Rare Disease teams


  • Provide broad assay development support for early stage drug discovery projects in the field of IO/GI/CNS/Rare Disease
  • Independently plan and execute in vitro immune cell functional assays
  • Design, validate and execute high throughput cell-based assays to support biologics characterization and discovery
  • Collaborate with automation engineers to identify suitable approaches to utilize laboratory automation for the execution of various cell-based assays
  • Spends ~ 90% of time in laboratory to maintain and implement cell-based assay platform and perform experimental assays.
  • Interface with project teams to meet timelines for project progression
  • Present research findings clearly and effectively at internal and external meetings
  • Troubleshoot complex problems in creative and effective ways and actively participates in innovation and/or optimization of established processes to ensure delivery on project goals


  • BS in Biochemistry/Cell Biology/Immunology with 6+ years of relevant experience, in early stage pharmaceutical drug discovery OR
  • MS in Biochemistry/Cell Biology/Immunology with 2+ years of relevant experience, in early stage pharmaceutical drug discovery
  • Team player able to liaise across multiple disciples including Automation, Cell Biology and Immunology
  • Self-motivated, collaborative with excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Skilled in analysis, interpretation, and presentation of results
  • Experience withmammalian cell culture with best practices in tissue culture is required
  • Hands on experience with automated platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work in cross-functional project teams
