Primary Purpose

Responsible for the accurate and timely entry ofcopy instructions in WideOrbit Network. Maintain the revenue of sales by understanding different sales campaigns and the creative process.

Key Activities

  • Develop and foster good working relationships with sales agency for commercial copy and instructions.
  • Maintain the revenue of sales by understanding and applying copy.
  • Solicit commercial and PSA materials from advertising agencies and media providers to facilitate master control delivery.
  • Enter revised agency instructions in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to make decisions to meet expected revenue and to hit targeted budget
  • .Understand how copy affects logs, master control, and howit is bound to each networks budget.
  • Manage traffic instruction filing system and maintain agency instruction files.
  • Double check all copies entries and agency instructions daily for accuracy.
  • Provide a daily dub list and purge list as needed.
  • The SME for their responsible network..
  • Resolve conflicts and answer inquiries from agencies and sales team.
  • Ensure that allocation is applied correctly to deals and orders.
  • Work with Standards and Practicesto ensure all commercials are compliant with networks standards.
  • Ensure that contractual agreements that sales have with agencies are fulfilled.

  • Place inventory according to information provided by agencies and sales and adjust as needed.
  • Meet weekly with sales marketing, sales and the creative team to ensure special campaigns are carried out correctly.
  • Monitor email traffic inboxes at off hours.
  • Have a thorough understanding of revenue implications of the copy team.
  • Coordinate with promo team and the networks to guarantee that logs are filled and ready for finalization.
  • Understand the relationship between the two sales entities - general market and direct response.
  • Share new methodologies and efficiencies with other team members.
  • Become familiar with other networks idiosyncrasies.

Skills

Education & Experience/Certifications

  • College degree preferred
  • 3-5 year of TV copy/traffic experience required
  • Proficiency in WideOrbit network system preferred or experience in WideOrbit Traffic or WideOrbit Radio
  • Proficiency with MS Office required

Skills & Abilities

  • Must demonstrate a clear understanding of traffic logs.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and work independently on projects.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to adhere to tight daily deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Ability to analyze datato make sound decisions and embrace new ideas through expression and presentation.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task.
