Sr. Director, Third Party Risk

ADP is hiring a Sr. Director, Third Party Risk.  

 

In this position, you will join the Product Security team within ADP’s Global Security Organization (GSO) and be responsible for ensuring the risk of our third party partners meets our expectations globally. The third party risk analysts within the team must have strong skills in conducting analysis of third parties to understand security risk and privacy concerns, mapped to business needs. The leader will manage a team of 10-15 third party risk experts.  The leader will have the ability to communicate well to internal and external stakeholders, and motivate and influence external partners to meet ADP expectations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Influence others: Motivate and lead cross functional teams through effective communication, delegation, and prioritization.
  • Strategic Prioritization: Prioritize third party risk resources based on strategic importance to ADP and criticality of exposure.  Ensure third party analysts spend a significant percentage of time on most strategic partners and most critical business processes.  Develop a reporting capability to demonstrate this prioritization.
  • Controls Prioritization: Prioritize controls based on criticality.  Ensure analysts are focused on most critical business processes and risk controls.  
  • Proactive Risk Identification: Using knowledge about the most strategic areas, and the most critical controls, develop plans to identify significant issues across the partner landscape. Partner with other security and internal teams as well as the external partners to help remediate most critical controls.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8 years minimum related experience working with vendors and partners.
  • Experience in the assessment of risk at external entities
  • Must be able to function in a dynamic environment subject to impromptu changes in schedules and priorities.
  • Demonstrate well-developed organizational, written communication, and analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of the appropriate techniques, approaches and tools for conducting third party risk assessments
  • Familiarity with industry standard tools and metrics for measuring service levels, managing work load and tracking metrics
  • Ability to supervise a team of third party risk analysts and cross cultural competency to lead teams in multiple countries
  • Experience leading a global function
  • Analytical thinking, problem solving, troubleshooting
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize, and make key deadlines
  • Ability to perform effective third party risk assessments
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and project simultaneously
