Job Summary:

The Sr. Manager, Myopia Management-US is an optometrist who will support the growth of CVIs myopia management business in the US. The individual will be expected to present knowledgeably on the topic at conferences and educational events, and participate in the planning, content development and delivery of these events, with the intent of establishing and advancing CVIs leadership in the myopia management category.

The primary stakeholders of the role are Professional & Academic Affairs, marketing, sales, sales force development, external customers, consultants and key opinion leaders.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

  • Support the Sr. Mgr., Myopia Management-NA to define and develop the annual strategy and plans for myopia management across the region, to include; focus areas, major events, clinical papers, training plans, presentations and other marketing collateral, major customer collaboration, schools & colleges of optometry, KOL activity, KPIs, etc.

  • Work with professional affairs and marketing to ensure alignment of plans and support required.

  • Provide clinical and practice management support to the customers within the Corporate Accounts organization.

  • Act as PAA lead on the processes that ensure clinical alignment of the MMS team.

  • Act as CVI PAA lead to the efforts of the myopia management KOL team.

  • Build and develop relationships with key commercial, clinical and educational opinion leaders involved in myopia management.

  • Present with personal impact at conferences to significant sized audiences on myopia management and serve as a myopia management expert to external audiences.

  • Inform the development, approval and deployment of relevant online and offline content development to support achievement of myopia management business objectives.

  • Share best practices for myopia management business success to both internal and external partners

  • Collect and act upon information about myopia management products in the marketplace.

  • Liaise with and update regulatory and professional organizations as required.

  • Proficiency with office software including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.

Work Environment:

  • Travel, predominantly domestic, approximately 50%.


  • Strong clinical experience in contact lens fitting in children for the purpose of myopia management.

  • Experienced presenter to large conference audiences

  • Current relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and industry experts in the field of contact lenses and myopia management.

  • Competent in the design and delivery of training programs for multi-level audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to network, identify and capitalize on opportunities.

  • Experience working in a corporate environment would be an advantage.


  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.)

  • Minimum of seven years in optical industry

  • Contact lens residency and/or advanced certification(s)or fellowships preferred.
