Summary/General Job Description:Essential Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications:
Ph.D. with >5 years experience with background in material science, ceramic, metal, polymer and metal organic. Experience in copper termination and MLCC electrode development are preferred. Understanding thick film printing technology, rheology and ability to modify rheology of thick-film pastes, experience in conductor and/or resistor paste/ink formulation, HTCC/LTCC tape formulation and process, thick film application etc are plus.
Travel Requirements:
Generally travel is not expected or required, but travel to customers or technical conference may occur as needed by the business.
Competencies/Job Skills:
Physical Demands: Must be in good physical condition, be able to lift up to 20 lbs, expend up to 8 hours per day standing and walking in the lab, and have good hearing and vision. Must be able to give verbal reports and short presentations of work.
Environmental, Health & Safety Requirements: This position shall maintain compliance with all Federal, State and Local Environmental, Health & Safety Regulations, at all times. The employee in this position shall maintain compliance with all Ferro Safety Standards as well as EHS rules/requirements of the site at all times.
