Must have

• Mandatory: Last two years (2019 and 2020) in a client-facing technical role as Snowflake developer / configurator.


• 6-8 years of experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence


• 2+ years of hands-on experience using Snowflake. (Note: specific hands-on Snowflake experience will be verified at interview)


• 2+ years experience working in a cloud computing with Azure experience


• Experience with data migration to cloud based environment


• Understanding of data warehousing, data cleaning, data pipelines and other analytical techniques required for data usage


• Strong understanding of data modeling (i.e. conceptual, logical and physical model design, experience with Operation Data Stores, Enterprise Data warehouses and Data Marts).


• Deep understanding of relational database design concepts and SQL programming


• Requires strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities


• Knowledge of business intelligence and data warehousing design principles and industry best practices


• Bachelors degree preference in computer/information sciences or business/commerce.

Good to have

• 6+ years- work experience as a hands-on ETL Developer or Data Engineer similar role.


• Worked on Snowflake on Azure.


• Worked on Azure Databricks.


• Worked on Data warehousing projects and involved in supporting data modelling activities as part of building the data warehouse.


• Experience of other ETL Tools such as SSIS, Informatica etc.


• Understanding of Agile framework and ability to work in sprints (agile project)


• Functional knowledge on insurance domain is preferred
