The UX Researcher - Expeirence Owner (Program Management Senior Advisor) will be responsible for an advocate for the Technology Experience team (TXS) for large-scale, high-visibility projects representing the end user between concept design and product design related to technical experiences driven by the project, often managing several projects at a time. This role is a crucial element to the enterprise as we innovate and move into the future state while striving for successful changes to technology with as little disruption and abrasion as possible. You will be a member of the CTX leadership team and will help support and drive the mission of the team and the development of our future strategy and roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the intake process review for all work effort requests, helping to define CTX requirements, lead discovery sessions with the project lead, and work with APM to ensure Jira documentation aligns with the program features.
  • Coordinate, guide and collaborate with CTX sub-teams to ensure alignment with the overall colleague experience plan, priorities, and project timelines.
  • Maintain the CTX project plan, periodic reviews, study, and feedback results to CTX and Project team to assist in identifying potential risks, gaps, and possible opportunities to best represent colleague interests for the product/initiative.
  • Create effective research roadmaps for complex and high-profile products.
  • Collaborate with product team leadership and align end-user experience owners applicable to (product, application & engineering) identify areas of confidence & risk in the product roadmap and craft a plan to address them.
  • Support the design and creation of research artifacts such as user personas, journey maps, experience maps, and success metrics (KPIs).
  • Champion the voice of the colleague in conversations with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate and mentor the entire research team, including junior research team members to establish and promote consistent, rigorous research practices and standards; model and advocate for those standards on your team and promote research excellence across the organization.
  • Proactively investigate and learn new processes, techniques, and emerging technologies for user research.
  • Proactively provide strategic ideas and suggestions for research team improvement to management.
  • Effectively navigate competing priorities for a product's research plan to deliver quality results on time.
  • Drive product improvement at the systems level through effective communication, post-study follow-up & planning, and relational influence across.
  • Evaluate and provide input on the selection of any key technologies within the contact center environment.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • BA/BS in computer science, human-computer interaction, experimental psychology, or a related field with relevant experience preferred.
  • 3+ years experience in applied UX and product research, planning, and conducting qualitative and quantitative research in complex environments.
  • Strong research strategy skills in areas of consumer/user research and analysis, personas and customer journeys, interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
  • Strong UX experience in areas of design thinking, ideation, and brainstorming techniques, as well as concept validation.
  • Proven experience in qualitative research and user-centered design methods as well as quantitative, behavioral analysis, and statistical concepts
  • Firsthand experience creating journey maps, affinity maps, mental models, and design heuristics
  • Expert ability to plan and conduct discovery and research activities, strong presentation skills, and a focus on ensuring insights are implemented into the best user experience.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with agile teams to drive effective and efficient implementation of research and design.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, documentation, and organization skills.
  • Strong presence, including the ability to partner with and effectively influence product and engineer leaders.
  • Skilled at communicating verbally and in writing to diverse audiences.
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to quickly re-prioritize in a dynamic environment
  • Analytical mindset and creativity to balance detailed problem-solving with a 'big-picture strategic view.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Ability to take direction and to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality or attention to detail.
  • Experience to respond flexibly to changing priorities.
  • Change Management expertise, certification preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with large teams using outstanding communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, especially as it relates to complex customer interactions.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 99,500 - 165,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
