UHC E&I National Accounts is responsible for ensuring our customers live healthier lives by receiving the right care, at the right time, and at the right place. This clinical position is responsible for providing direct client support to National Account customers. The position is responsible to provide clinical account relationship support including strategic planning for medical performance, consultative services, clinical analytics and recommendations for benefit design, closing gaps in care, improving outcomes and identifying medical expense management opportunities.
The position will be part of an inter-disciplinary team that will include Medical Directors and members of the National Accounts client service organization to support the clinical performance of assigned customers. This position will research, develop and present new or existing strategies to improve quality and performance, reduce variation in medical spend, ensure accurate documentation of members conditions and increase Net Promoter Scores for assigned customers.

Primary Responsibilities:
Provides day to day clinical account management support for assigned employer group accounts(s)
For assigned employer group account(s) is the liaison to the National Account Growth & Client Management Teams and the employer group account(s) for improving clinical performance and maximizing medical cost reduction opportunities
Provides real time data informatics and clinical insight to the Medical Director(s) for assigned employer group account(s)
Build strong relationships and partner with National Account teams, internal clinical teams (Optum, UnitedHealth Network, and United Clinical Services) and external partners to drive successful outcomes and improvement opportunities
Educate and partner with local market teams on specific needs for their business priorities
Create regular report highlighting employer group account specific performance. Highlight recommendations for performance improvement and ensure initiatives are in place to achieve goals
Negotiate priority initiatives and strategies with senior business leader for the assigned employer group(s)

Required Qualifications:
Unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) or Advance Practice Nurse (APN) license or Pharmacist
5+ years of ASO experience supporting National Accounts and/or Key Accounts
2+ years of data analytics experience
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of external client facing account management experience
Experience in population health management
Project/program management experience
Expert knowledge of documentation and coding/risk adjustment accuracy
Intermediate to Advanced ICUE proficiency
PowerPoint Presentation skills
Proven ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations with analyzing "High-Cost Claimants"
Demonstrated capacity to influence others through indirect and consultative skills
Proven ability to interact with medical practices, peers, and internal company staff at all levels
Excellent communication and presentation skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
