This position is with Evernorth, a new business within the Cigna Corporation.

We are currently seeking a Strategic Marketing Senior Advisor aligned to Evernorth, Cigna's Health Services business segment, with a focus on building and elevating our Care+ offerings and capabilities at a category level within the marketplace. Care+ today spans a myriad of point and/or integrated point solutions offerings for behavioral health, care delivery and care enablement solutions including clinical pharmacy, medical, coaching, wellness, condition management and more. This role requires business-to-business and direct-to-customer marketing strategy, message development (platform and selling messages), product and/or category marketing, and campaign development experience. The ideal candidate will exhibit proven ability to develop a comprehensive message and marketing strategic framework to connect product and sales initiatives to enterprise goals, with specific experience working cross-functionally to enable sales teams to deliver growth, as well as, the ability to drive consumerengagement/experience working with product leadership.

Candidate will lead category marketing strategy development across a suite of solutions in collaboration with product, sales enablement, solutions and segment marketing teams. To succeed in this role the candidate must possess strong ability to navigate change in a complex matrixed environment, be comfortable challenging the status quo, and translate business objectives into sound B2B and B2C (via B2B2C and DTC) marketing strategies and plans informed by stakeholder insights and differentiated from the competition.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a strong understanding of client and buyers' unique challenges and opportunities and position Care+ offerings to address key problems to solve.
  • Build business-to-business marketing campaigns, projects and programs to drive adoption of Care+ offerings and increase understanding of Care+ differentiators.
  • Translate complex and diverse subject matter into compelling ideas and messages that address client needs.
  • Plan and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns, through strategic positioning, market messaging, client-facing sales enablement tools and other B2B marketing communications.
  • Identify, develop and execute B2C (via B2B2C or DTC) marketing strategies and messaging to support successful solution introduction, enhancement and ongoing customer engagement priorities.
  • Mobilize and direct expertise across marketing capability centers and orchestrate end to end marketing plans to drive growth, adoption, retention and optimal customer and client experience - across all stages of lifecycle, across all pertinent audiences and channels.
  • Build effective launch plans and strong value proposition articulation and tools ( show don't tell ) to enable sales to be successful at driving Care+ growth, and identifying relevant connections across Evernorth capabilities.
  • Cross functional/matrix management with strong ability to influence others and create accountability to achieve Care+ business goals and marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with peers to manage department/team priorities and work flow to support collective business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS SHOULD INCLUDE

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8-10+ years of marketing and business strategy experience, must have both business to business and direct to consumer experience.
  • Strong Modern Marketer: ability to understand and grasp marketing strategy and approach, leverage data and insights to inform strategy and recommended approach, link business need to action, understand how to leverage digital tactics/channels to execute marketing strategy.
  • Health care industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment across multiple functions and in support of diverse buyers and geographies.
  • Critical thinker and creative problem solver, who exercises good judgment in resolving difficult situations, prioritizes and can balance needs with enterprise objectives
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment, and juggle multiple, sometimes competing, priorities and requirements
  • Experience executing strategy within timeline, budget and quality standards

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
