The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is seeking a Sophomore or Junior college student for a summer internship in the Bank's Research department. Students majoring in Economics, Math or Statistics will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Collect and manage data to support the Coincident Index (CI) model. The intern will gather historical data for several economic indicators, conduct data verification checks, and build a data structure suitable for running the CI model on vintages of the historical data. This should provide the intern with exposure to regional economic data, analysis, and some analytical tools.

Regional Research. As time permits, management may assign tasks to gather data and conduct preliminary analysis on one or two research topics that feed our pipeline for Regional Spotlight articles. This should provide the intern with more in-depth exposure to some aspects of regional economics.
