The Supply Planning Analyst plays a key role in supporting the Supply Planning team. They will work closely with other Supply Planners to ensure that finished good receipt plans are created to best meet the inventory requirements of global customers across multiple selling channels/DCs. The Supply Planning Analyst interacts and communicates with demand planning, finance, operations and supply chain teams to identify inventory trends and constraints. Determine global supply buy/produce quantities using forecast, open orders, supply landscape and trend analysis for a subset of skus. Analyze inventory trends and make suggestions to prioritize, expedite or delay open orders.

  • Manage supply chain finished goods inventory levels and replenishments. Monitor network inventory levels and requirements, replenishing inventory to meet Supply Chain Planning targets including inventory investment, customer service levels and transportation efficiencies. If there is risk, work collaboratively with the cross functional teams to minimize cost and maximize customer service.
  • Communicate with demand planners / plant master schedulers to translate forecasts into supply requirements for all skus within your assigned product/DC portfolio.
  • Closely coordinate and communicate inventory action plans with S&OP Coordinators.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product management, Operations, and Procurement to launch new products on time.
  • Collaborate with Plant Material Planners/Buyers on purchasing raw materials, relative to the published finished goods build plans, to ensure raw material will be ready in time to support the finished goods build plans.
  • Partner with cross functional teams and lead analysis and preparation of DC inventory and forecast reviews for use by senior management monthly and during quarterly guidance.
  • Develop ad-hoc and repetitive reports and information tools as requested. Combine data from multiple sources and formats into tools for planning decision support, capacity and inventory analysis, auditing and other purposes. When needed, ensure a smooth transition of use to other employees within the department through documentation and training.
  • Provide updates to stakeholders and management regarding project status.
  • Intercompany vs external purchases
  • Manage VMI program if applicable.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Type of Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
  • APICS certification is preferred.
  • 2+ years of demand or supply planning experience.
  • Knowledgeable of supply planning processes.
  • Excellent communication and follow up skills to manage expectations and resolve conflicts with stakeholders.
  • Strong numerical problem-solving skills. Ability to boil down vast amount of data to the relevant points.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams on an international basis.
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint a must.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to read, write and speak in English required
