Reporting directly to the Director Surgery, and with the assistance from the OR Supervisor, the Surgery RN will be consistently collaborating with other departments in order to be sure that the facility is providing their patients with the best possible treatments, while meeting the AORN Standards of Care. The Surgical Services RN is expected to continuously maintain professionalism by continuing to learn throughout their tenure. The Surgery RN may be required to help in other departments when in need, but for the most part will be stationed in the Operating Room.

As a big part of the Surgery team, the Surgery RN will work side by side with Surgical Technicians, Sterile Processing Staff, and multiple other Surgery RNs. This facility offers a wide range of different Surgical procedures including Gynecological, ENT, Urology, Eye, Spinal, and many more being a top local hospital to trust. Their Catheterization lab (cath lab) offers numerous procedures for interventional radiology used to treat various types of artery abnormalities.
