Systems Integrator - Requirements Integration

Responsibilities

The individual selected for this position will support the Sponsor's organization responsible for coordinating secure Internet capabilities for mission. This includes integrating new system requirements with established Enterprise efforts. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Analyze and identify all or part of a Sponsor's design, architecture, network, and systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs.
  • Manage and verify requirements by capturing detailed descriptions of product functionality
  • Translate the Sponsor's requirements - systems, applications, or process designs - for very large complex IT solution and integrating architecture.
  • Document, analyze and review program requirements for a large team responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and prototyping internet solutions
  • Ensure the project team has clear, consistent, and testable requirements documented in user stories and completion criteria.
  • Interface with multiple stakeholders to assess and comprehend their requirements to understand how they can be integrated with the Sponsor's requirements
  • Act as an advocate for the Sponsor on the architecture designed to address business problems.
  • Reconcile conflicts; decompose high-level information into the appropriate level of detail for team members; and participate in peer reviews of requirements documentation.

Qualifications

  • Advance experience in Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to work both independently and as an effective team member
  • Experience showing flexibility to cope with a changing environment and short deadlines
  • Experience in planning and organizing work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both oral and written)
  • Demonstrated experience performing facilitation with groups to ensure capturing work processes and workflows
  • Exceptional communication and familiarity with Sponsor's environment at both project level and executive audiences
  • Ideal candidate must be a self-starter, problem solver, and resourceful
  • Solid project management skills (e.g. planning, tracking, and reporting)
  • Bachelor's degree (or 5/+ equivalent experience) in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 10 years' related experience, plus 3 years supporting Sponsor
