Responsibilities

The individual selected for this position will support the Sponsor's organization responsible for managing an identity data strategy. The Integration Office under which this strategy resides serves as lead to synchronize planning, strategy development, resource prioritization and mission execution for a data-oriented service with cross-organizational equities. This position provides systems integration in strategic planning and project management to a cross-directorate initiative. This position requires knowledge of strategic planning, business processes, communications, marketing and technological expertise as applicable to the customer domain. A broad mission understanding of operations and technical development is required to help coordinate activities such as stakeholder outreach and strategic planning. The ability to independently leverage and develop relationships by work seamlessly with senior customer executives, data scientists, system engineers, operational equities, and support staff is required to ensure adequate strategic integration and communication among all stakeholders.

This position directly supports a joint customer and contractor team responsible for managing the creation and execution of a strategy directed by senior customer executives. This position requires proactive leadership and in-depth knowledge of strategic planning processes, systems integration, project planning and scheduling, project management, marketing and communications for the delivery and implementation of an exceptionally complex strategy across a multitude of stakeholders.

This position requires technical and non-technical project management expertise be applied to the overarching initiative and various sub-project initiatives impacting mission and cultural changes in the organization. Strong project management skills required to provides technical advisory and lifecycle support to the sponsor. Advisory support on exceptionally complex technology and cultural challenges that necessitate high level knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation is required.

This position is high visibility and collaborates with many Sponsor counterparts/teams. Candidate must be able to work in a team environment, interfacing with senior executive customers. This position requires managing multiple tasks in a detail-oriented fashion. Candidate must address and balance strategic and tactical oriented deadlines and priorities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Apply strategic planning and tactical execution expertise to the mission space
  • Outreach on behalf of customer to other offices and directorates sponsors
  • Perform horizontal integration across organization and initiatives
  • Provide project management support to a multitude of initiatives
  • Prepare, coordinate and manage all required activities for successful strategy execution
  • Prepare deliverables such as presentations, strategies, studies, requirements, status reports, plans and ad-hoc documentation
  • Review strategic plans and make recommendations for corrective action
  • Ensure solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner
  • Coordinate activities in support of sponsor program managers and teams across missions, offices and directorates

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience developing and implementing a strategic plan around building a data-based program
  • Demonstrated experience advising a teams of senior customers
  • Experience tailoring communication to all levels of direct customer management
  • Experience with the sponsor's project management lifecycle
  • Experience developing and reviewing deliverables such as presentations, strategies, studies, requirements, status reports, plans and ad-hoc documentation
  • Microsoft PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word and Excel
  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience (3 years for Bachelors, 5 year for MS/MA)) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a scientific discipline
  • Minimum of 16 Years' relevant experience (minimum of 14 years with MS/MA)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced technical and/or business degree desired
  • Ability to balance strategic and tactical expertise
  • Demonstrated outreach to other and future sponsors high highly desired
  • Experience responding to data calls and action items
