Tableau Developer - Core Technology Infrastructure

**Job Description:**



Position Summary



Primary Responsibilities: Serve as an integral member of the Enterprise Tableau team responsible



Perform administrative and support activities across a multi-environment Tableau infrastructure including security administration, release management, troubleshooting and general systems maintenance.



Provide guidance and personalized support at scale to help the Bank's organizations succeed with Tableau.



Perform development activities from gathering requirements and designing solutions, through developing code / reports, to testing and release / deployment.



Build comprehensive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop.



Research and identify needs, goals, and business models by collaborating with the end users, stakeholders and support partners.



Review, assess current state and identify improvement opportunities and best practice recommendations. Define, establish and lead effective routines and reporting mechanisms to drive the maturation of service operations.



Create and site users and groups.



Create projects and organize site content.



Assign content permissions to users and groups.



Monitor and maintain site metrics such as content usage, user activity, and scheduled tasks.



Troubleshoot user issues across a wide range of Server and Desktop topics.



Required Skills



Excellent communication skills (must be able to interface with both technical and business leaders in the organization, drive learning curriculums, speak effectively with enthusiasm and confidence against large audiences).



Proven experience administering a large Enterprise Server BI platform with over 30k users



Proven advanced skill and experience with Tableau development with software version 2020.3+.



Proficient with querying languages, such as ANSI-SQL, T-SQL.



Candidates must have 3+ years of Business Intelligence experience.



Problem solving / troubleshooting experience /skills to assist Production Support in issue resolution.



Proven ability to independently champion business intelligence principles with business owners, application owners, data analysts and DBAs.



Proven ability to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines and documenting progress towards those deadlines.



Excellent requirements gathering skills.



Ability to be a self-starter that can provide leadership.



Comprehensive understanding of the Agile Development process.



Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.



Desired Skills



Experience with industry BI/Reporting toolsets including Tableau, MicroStrategy, Cognos, Power BI, ThoughtSpot, Qlik.



Experience with connecting to Hadoop, Oracle, Sybase, DB2, Netezza, Teradata, and SQL databases.



Experience with Data Science integration and application (Python, R).



Experience with ETL tools (Trifecta, Alteryx, SSIS, Informatica)



Experience with programming languages (Java, JavaScript). Experience with Financial services data and large data volumes.
