Responsibilities

The Talent Acquisition Officer is responsible for the ongoing hiring strategy that defines the process of finding, attracting, and onboarding the right candidates for the Bank's needs. Manages the full cycle recruiting effort for all open positions; interviews candidates, extends and negotiates offers to a successful conclusion, provides a high level of customer service; partners with Managers to determine the most effective and efficient recruitment strategy for their hiring needs. Defines the position requirements, develops an effective strategy to attract and hire the best-qualified candidate, and maintains a candidate pipeline. Organize participation in job fairs and serves as a Brand Ambassador at all recruitment events including College & University recruitment events. Develops and maintains professional relationships with colleges and universities' career placement offices as a source to generate qualified candidates. Manages the intern program by conducting orientations; scheduling rotations and assignments; monitoring intern job contributions; coaching interns; and advising managers on training and coaching. Networks through industry contacts and groups .

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with a focus on HR preferred and a minimum of three (3) years of direct experience recruiting/talent acquisition; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be comfortable with change and have the ability to adapt and be flexible with strategic realignment initiatives.
  • Must be capable to balance competing priorities, as well as strategic and day-to-day service delivery.
  • Proven history of recommending and supporting implementation of enhancements and improvements to establish processes and workflows is required.
  • Must be self-motivated and detail oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities in a demanding environment and work well under pressure; must be able to multitask.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze trends related to recurring issues and recommend approaches to the resolution or enhancement of these issues is required.
  • Must have aggressive presentation skills, ability to work in an extremely dynamic work environment with high quality control measures and performance standards, self-sufficient and willing to learn.
  • Excellent project management, organization, prioritization and multitasking skills are critical for success.
  • Must be energetic, forward-thinking, creative, and able to challenge assumptions while providing HR best in class practices.
  • Must have experience working in a team and high quality service advocacy.
  • Ability to work independently but also know when to escalate any concerns for guidance and/or resolutions.
  • Ability to conduct training for New Hires and on-going interviewing skills training for managers.
  • Must have outstanding relationship management, verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Computer knowledgeable in MS Office Software, (Excel, Word, and Outlook, Power Point).
  • Experience directly related to design and training delivery is highly preferred.
  • HR Generalist Experience is a plus.
