JOB SUMMARY

The Technical Account Manager oversees and addresses the customers' on-going technical needs by providing accurate technical support before and after the point of sale, ensuring customer satisfaction and recommending new solutions.
The Technical Account Manager is a tech-savvy professional, able to explain technical details and requirements to a non-technical audience, and also be results-driven and aspire to achieve specific goals. In this role, the Technical Account Manager will be a trusted adviser to Scantron's clients.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide technical support for customers to support pre-sales and post-sales processes
    • Provide technical and sales support for Customer Relationship Managers
    • Interface with the NOC, Solutions Engineering and the Implementation team to ensure all aspects the client experiences are addressed
    • Deliver Quarterly Business Reports to existing targeted client base
    • Provide all customers' feedback to CRM or Manager
    • Identify new solutions for existing client base
    • Analyze customers' needs and suggest upgrades or additional features and services to meet their requirements
    • Liaise with the Sales department to win new business and increase sales
    • Establish best practices
    • Keep track of sales performance metrics

EDUCATION

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field experience

EXPERIENCE

    • Proven work experience as a Technical Account Manager
    • Solid technical background with hands on experience in digital technologies
    • Familiarity with software and front-end development
    • Ability to gasp customers' needs and suggest timely solutions
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
