Job Description
Provides technical systems and software analysis for development and maintenance of Trading and Order Management systems. Works under general direction on complex projects to translate business needs into features and stories that can be implemented by the technical teams. Serves as a trusted partner to solve problems and drive timely and efficient delivery of initiatives.
The candidate must be a strong team player with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams, innovate and provide client focused solutions.
-Responsibilities include leading meetings to gather business requirements, identify cross-team dependencies and troubleshoot issues related to the project
-Facilates writing features and stories and breaks them down into development tasks
-Develops use cases and provides feedback on test plans and scripts
-Test solutions and validates that they meet business needs
-Coordinates communication with operations, technology and business stakeholders.
-Identifies opportunities for process improvements and lead efforts to communicate and implement them
**Required Skills**
-Relevant experience working as a Business Analyst/Technical Project Manager in the financial services sector. Typically requires 5 to 7 years of applicable experience.
-Knowledge of trading applications and functions and order processing in particular.
-Knowledge of Equity & Fixed Income products.
-Demonstrated ability to work closely with business and technical teams to execute on deliverables
-Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously t
-Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
-Ability to work in a team focused, dynamic environment.
**Desired Skills**
-IT degree
-Experience working in an Agile team
