Are you detail oriented with good organizational skills? Do you enjoy problem solving and developing new ways of working? If so, you may be an ideal candidate for this role at Edward Jones. As a member of Canada Operations you will be responsibleperforming several technical or complex functions, and requires experience in the financial brokerage industry (products, systems, processes and controls). Knowledge of and contribution will be expected within various product lines, namely Mutual Funds, Equities, Exchange-Traded Funds and Fee Based Products. Further detail:

  • Process assigned functions, meet service levels. Ensure controls are in place and maintained.

  • Manage complex functions such as data gathering/analysis, creation and troubleshooting of macros and complex spreadsheets, reconciliation, etc.

  • Provide subject matter expertise in projects/testing, issues, initiatives, audits.


  • Liaise with other departments within Operations and Home Office Divisions, Branches, Vendors and Product Partners.

  • Actively champion change and innovation, improve process and service to Branches/Clients.

  • Lead personal development.


  • Works well within a Team and independently.

  • Strong time management skills. Drives for results in a fluid, potentially unstructured environment.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Possesses an aptitude for analysis, problem resolution, reconciliation, etc.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and skills (ex. Excel, Visio, macros).

  • 2+ years of Financial Services experience (Mutual Funds, Equities, ETF's, Fee Based Products).

  • A university or college degree (in Finance preferred).

  • Canada Operations experience preferred.
