Responsible for the On and Off Premise Sales for Northern Ohio (Cleveland & Toledo Districts). This individual will be a crucial liaison between key customers, our broker partner and the State Manager. The role provides a great opportunity to learn the control model, as well as to build your skill set around finance, selling and broker management.

Role Responsibilities
The Ohio Territory Manager has the opportunity of selling in Beam-Suntory programs to key on and off premise accounts that would tie directly in with national and regional programming. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and refine skills that could be further used within Marketing as well as a State Manager position.

  • Responsible and accountable for managing our Cleveland and Toledo broker teams to achieve key executional results, including: KPI achievement, beating the market, winning in American Whiskey, winning in Tequila & delivering our financial priorities.
  • Forge strong account relationships in the Cleveland & Toledo markets to drive BSI portfolio growth, engage loyal consumers and create innovative programming to recruit new consumers.
  • Responsible for identifying the opportunities within your territory with an analytical approach to provide an ROI.
  • Create & maintain a close relationship with our top multicultural accounts within the territory.
  • Establish and maintain cross-functional relationship with our internal and external stakeholders.
  • Along with the State Manager, responsible for managing our state budgets: OPEX, BI, and LMF.
  • Responsible for managing specific functions given by the State Manager (inventory management, forecasting, social media influencers, etc.).
  • Successfully execute all on/off-premise events and use division or company sponsored tracking and execution recaps as provided.
  • Provide monthly program recaps to State Manager OH and identify any issues/concerns that can be improved upon with future programs.
  • Build super premium and premium brands that are growing nationally at high rates in the local market.
  • Continue to grow our premium portfolio, nurture our innovation while also keeping an eye on our high-volume value segment. Find innovative ways to engage consumers in ways that create demand for our brands.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in the Beverage Alcohol Industry and/or the CPG category
  • Programming expertise
  • Budget development and management
  • Demonstrated success in Off-Premise sales and On-Premise sales
  • Strong "Command Presence" and the ability to influence and guide extended teams
  • Ability to balance analytics and interpersonal relationships to drive broad gains in the market through clear and timely direction and tracking systems
  • Presentation Effectiveness: ability to translate insights into structured presentations that highlight key takeaways; Ability to present effectively to senior audiences

Physical Demands
While performing the essential functions of this job, daily physical activities may include, but aren't limited to:
  • Lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling of up to 45 lbs.
  • Sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, stopping and typing using a computer
