Responsible for On and Off Premise Sales for West Texas. Texas is one of the largest and fastest growing markets in the US. Opportunity to work closely with Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits and the Texas Team on planning, budgeting, and execution for West Texas.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage our distributor partner to achieve our mutual NSV, DGP and KPI goals.
  • Actively manage the presentation and execution of category plans, brand plans, promotions and new item introductions ensuring compliance with Brand Standards at all times.
  • Develop new volume in these focus areas: Independent Broad Market, Large Format Liquor chains, On Premise Independents, and Regional Chains.
  • Set goals with distributor to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual on & off-premise targets. Work with distributor sales force to monitor progress and ensure goals are achieved, within the Beam Suntory distributor management processes.
  • Effectively manage on & off-premise broad market with responsibility for expanding distribution/volume on priority brands/sizes. Successfully launch all new products off-premise achieving volume and distributions KPI s as set out by corporate management.
  • Monitor distributor execution weekly/monthly and address all shortfalls when they occur with corrective actions plans.
  • Successfully execute all off-premise events and use division or company sponsored tracking and execution recaps as provided.
  • Participate in monthly reviews with Sr Manager of Channel Sales, Off Premise to identify any issues/concerns that can be improved upon with future programs and to call out successful business practices that we can expand upon moving forward.
  • Conduct quarterly sales blitz s with distributor focusing on key holiday s that align to our weeks to win strategy.
  • Present at monthly GSM s and offer sales training and communication to distributor sales force in areas of brand trend awareness and sales technique.
  • Ensure all efforts and sales involvement is in compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Manage sales expenses and inventory and manage Beam Suntory on & off-premise POS with distributors.
  • Conduct regular work-withs or account visits with distributor personnel
  • Spend time with data and in market to highlight current/future trends and opportunities

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Previous spirits industry experience preferred
  • 3-5 years consumer products sales experience
  • Knowledge of the Texas Adult Beverage market
  • Budget development and retail sales experience
  • Excellent written/oral communication and business analytical skills
  • Demonstrated MS Office proficiency in Excel and PPT
  • Experience working with beverage distributors preferred
  • Licensed driver of motor vehicles


Physical Demands
While performing the essential functions of this job, daily physical activities may include, but aren't limited to:
  • Lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling of up to 45 lbs.
  • Sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, stopping and typing using a computer
