If you are a Commercial Salesprofessionallooking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Texas, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining sales based on an assigned set of channel partners and a portfolio of accounts. Accounts are served by the channel. Your mission will be to protect and grow the core Emerson Machine Automation Solutions business in collaboration withBusiness Development Managers responsible for specific verticals and accounts that are served or can be served by the channel.
Territory - Texas and Louisana
  • Manage sales activities ofchannel partners to generate revenue
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners in assigned territory
  • Coordinate with channel partners to create and execute business plans to meet sales goals
  • Evaluate channel partner sales performance and recommend improvements
  • Manage assigned channel branches ensuring mindshare for Emerson. This includes branch level updates and New Product Introduction (NPI) launches
  • Manage sales pipeline, new sales opportunities, and forecast inSalesforce
  • Partner with product management for the voice of the customer, deploying marketing programs and training
  • Develop positive working relationships with channel partners to build business
  • Ensure channel partner-relatedissues are resolved in a timely manner. This includes coordination with customer care and inside sales.
  • Stay current with the latest developments in the marketplace and competitor activities

  • Bachelors degree plus 6+ years of experience, or a Masters degree and 5+ years of experience
  • Experience workingin a sales/sales support role in theindustrial process controlindustry
  • Strong business acumen
  • Must be able to manage conflict at the senior leadership level
  • Must be a self-starter and work with limited supervision
  • Able to deal with ambiguity
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills required
  • Up to 50% travel, primarily in the assigned region
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
