Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians is seeking a Voice & Network Engineer for our central business office in Westerville, OH. The Voice and Network Engineer is responsible for the design, management, expansion, and administration of the COPCP VOIP infrastructure. This position oversees the products and services integrated into Mitel that provide telecom services to the COPCPs 80+ locations as well as provides support and assistance with other telephony platforms as necessary. The Voice and Network Engineer collaborates with the telecom providers on telecommunication system implementations, upgrades and troubleshooting when needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for Designing/Implementing/Upgrading/Maintaining systems including PBXs, IP Platforms, Voice Mail Systems and applications. This includes but not limited to Unified Messaging, Call recording, Collaboration tools, etc. with the primary focus on the Mitel product line.
Debug IP telephony/Mitel infrastructure issues and working with our Mitel VAR and the Mitel TAC to resolve problems as they arise.
Participate and lead projects to add new sites and staff to the COPCP Mitel implementation.
Travel to Physician offices to support and maintain production networks and VOIP systems.
Implement/debug network switches and routers and associated network protocols (SIP, IP, TCP, UDP, OSPF, etc).
Work with telecom providers to implement, change, or expand telecom circuits and services as needed.
Mentor and train IT staff on Mitel technologies. Develop training material for COPCP staff on use of the Mitel system and assist with training.

Education, Licensures & Certifications
Required: Bachelors Degree or 5+ years of experience with Voice and Network Systems
Preferred: Mitel certifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Experience with design, implementation, maintenance, and operation of Mitel phone systems, specifically Mitel Orange or ShoreTel is preferred (Mitel HQ Servers, DVS, ECC, Edge Gateways, hardware and virtual VoIP and trunk switches, etc)
Experience with Aruba routing and switching technologies
Experience implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Ingate Siparators
Experience working with call center environments
Experience with call recording solutions
Experience debugging problems with SIP and PRI circuits
Experience including but not limited to VoIP, SIP, IP, QoS, OSPF, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, Network Analyzer, PBX Management, Unified Messaging, Call Centers, Collaboration Tools, Voice Conference Bridge, Wireless, Teleworker, LCS/LBG and Mobility
In depth knowledge with network switching and routing
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applications and Visio
Exceptional customer service skills
Communicate effectively and efficiently both verbally and written
Ability to communicate technical information effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions
Ability to work with non-technical end users
